2017 RETROSPECTIVE POSTER:
OFFICIAL ALBANY FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL MERCHANDISE!
36"W X 24"H
Each year the Albany Chefs' Food & Wine Festival creates an iconic bottle that will serve as the Festival Image throughout its’ marketing campaign. The bottles were introduced in 2012 with the typography bottle created by Phillip Armstrong. The 2013 / 2014 bottle was a mixed media piece painted in the Old Master style by local artist Tony Iaidiccio, digitized by Allison Munsell, and graphically enhanced by Danielle McMahon.
The 2015, 2016 and 2017 Festival Images were created by local graphic designer Robert Coker of New England Standard in Saratoga Springs. The 2015 bottle, called the “Blue Lady”, inspired by Matisse’s painting. The 2016 art theme was Picasso, with the section of the painting that is on the bottle from his “Still Life with a Glass Under a Lamp”. The 2017 bottle incorporates one of the most famous sculptures of the Greek Antiquities, “The Three Graces”.
The Festival Image now serves as the inspiration for the theme of the Grand Gala dinner with each year’s menu paying homage to the artist.
