The Rising Star Chef Competition showcases the Capital Region’s most talented up-and-coming chefs. Through public feedback and engagement, nominations are gathered for chefs who are making their mark on the local culinary scene. The Albany Wine & Dine for the Arts Board of Directors reviews recommendations and conducts tastings to determine which chefs will be invited to cook at the Festival’s two Grand Tastings.
